1984 unknown number but said to be common near Dankhunthod hospital (Lamleuk Muangkrajang).
1978 c. 18 white-rumped vultures and 2 red-headed vulture seen foraging on swine carcasses along railroad near pig farms between Potharam and Moeng district, Ratchaburi. Local said that the vultures nested on nearby patches of tall Dipterocarp trees. (Satakun Sombutphotiudom).
1974 2 vultures perching on a tall dipterocarp tree Brahmsakorn school, Brahmburi district, Singhaburi (Mr.Aunnop Chanthanasewee).
1962-1967 several vultures (with 1-2 red-headed vultures) foraging on dog carcass on Kuang river in Lamphun (Thaworn Ongkanthong). The red-headed vulture appeared to dominate over other vultures which were likely the white-rumped.
